I didn't have any issues while staying here, don't believe all the things people say until you experience something for yourself. I stayed for a total of 9 days it's the most affordable in the better area compared to other cheap motels to the same degree in San Francisco, the service from the employees was good and had no issues. The rooms were clean and everything worked. Didn't have a vehicle so didn't have to worry about parking, overall I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again if I had to stay in a hotel in the city again.

I love this hotel. May not be a great place for a sheltered family of four- but for the price, discerning adults should dig it. Parking is $25 a night but you can see your car from any room and the lot is lit up. Empty laundromat acroas the way makes awesome sandwiches-this dual service business is the way to stay afloat. You can walk pretty much anywhere you need to get to. The staff is quick and efficient- and the girls clean nonstop. Ice machine not workiing but if ya'll remember to tip well maybe they could afford a new one.

The front desk at San Francisco Central Hotel is pioneering a bold new concept: ‘Hospitality Without the Hospitality.’ At first, I thought I had accidentally signed up for a social experiment on customer neglect—but nope, this is just their regular service model. Smiles? Warm greetings? Still in beta testing, I guess. But I remain hopeful! One day, they’ll unlock the ancient art of customer service.

Well, it's the Travelodge. It's not super-modern but at least they have flat-screens now. We were a little put off by the bare wood floors as they aren't great to walk on and they seemed to amplify they surrounding noise quite a bit, so it sounds like they floors above you are hosting elephant races, but it's tolerable. Also, this location does an excellent job keeping a clean and sanitary environment. I wasn't the least bit hesitant about taking a relaxing bath with plenty of hot water. All in all, i recommend it for a simple night or two basic hotel stay. Just don't book it for your honeymoon or anything.

I have stayed in this hotel at least 25 times or more. Yes I do see people outside which they have never bother me . Rooms are clean and the stuff are ok , except the young female who works at night, she is amazing super fast with the check in. I often leave my car there . I haven't had any issues with people trying to break in . Don't judge the homeless, they sometimes watch over your vehicle without even getting a thanks. Yes they are areas of opportunity like every business but so far I am booking soon again

Great prices, great location. The best part of the stay was the front desk staff, I stay here often & when I do they’re always extremely friendly and make it simple to check in. I recommend this place if you’re visiting in the city.

I was there for 2nights to attend the conference. I saw lot of bad reviews but my experience was good. You shouldn't expect so many things with $70/night deal! I have found coffee machine with two instant coffee, tv, microwave and mini fridge functioning well. Everything was fine except I smell a little weed in one night for some times. In the midnight, it was little noisy as it's close to downtown. Just a quick advice, give them the $100 deposit in cash so that you don't have to give them the credit card info and getting back the money in your account. I didn't have any issue and paid whole money with cash.
